Favicon not working in IE9

Hi all, site is at http://www.electsheldon.com/.  I have a favicon that I created using a transparent png, and then converted using http://www.xiconeditor.com/ (also tried a different site with same result), I can get the favicon to work in latest FF and Chrome, but not in IE9.  If I add the site as a bookmark, the favicon shows up in the bookmark menu but still does not show up in the tab.

 

What I have tried:

clear cache

deleting temp files

add as bookmark, close browser and get to site via bookmark.

 

I've used the same favicon method on other (non NB sites), and they work in IE.

Forgot your password link working?

I thought I had broke something on the login page of the site I was working on, as the URL for "forgot your password" is http://xxxxxxx.nationbuilder.com/Liquid error: protected method `new_users_password_reset_url' called for #<Forms::UserSessionsController:0x1aa5d628>.

 

But then I noticed its the same (http://nationbuilder.com/Liquid%20error:%20protected%20method%20%60new_users_password_reset_url%27%20called%20for%20#%3CForms::UserSessionsController:0x16ff42e8%3E) for this site.  Is this basic function broken for the entire system?  Or am I missing a piece of the puzzle here.
