For campaigns emphasizing shoeleather work -- door knocking, face-to-face interviews, pamphlet drops -- it would be GREAT to have an app that would support downloading of a prospect list to a tablet, tablet-based data updates (as in Call mode or Data entry mode), and re-uploading of the data to the NB database. Ideally the data update part would work without a wireless link. (Otherwise, this functionality already exists through a web browser.)

I agree. This would be a very useful functionality. Checking information and updating information on the go would really help out the folks on the ground.
