commented on Lists API
I’ve just been bitten by the issue Pavel raised below. It would be helpful if the documentation for the “Add People” endpoint was corrected above. The documentation explicitly states that this returns a JSON object, and it doesn’t.

commented on Exports API
I would find “Export all” functionality very useful. The people/index endpoint does let you paginate through all the people in a nation, but does not provide all the information that would be included in an export. So you need to (1) Paginate through all the people in the Nation as above (2) Create a list (3) Add the ids of the people returned at 1 to that list (4) Export the list (5) Delete the list.

commented on Rate Limit Policy
Thanks @mitch. It looks like the ruby client simply retries with a geometric back-off, when it receives a 429 response, and ignores the X-RateLimit headers. An alternative would be to wait until the time in the X-RateLimit-Reset header in the first instance, and then use the standard geometric back-off (in case the client and server clocks are out of sync).

commented on Filtering on IDs - add "does not exist" to list of qualifiers
Duhhh. You can already do this. I got as far as finding “exists” in the list of qualifiers, but didn’t notice that once selected you can filter on “exists | no” as well as “exists | yes”. So I would like to withdraw the request!
