However, we were hit overnight with a lot of spambots and NB didn’t keep up. At the same time, we were flagged by Google and had to resubmit our site for evaluation. This is a big problem!

What actions can we put in place to prevent spambots on our end? Hopefully we don’t need to shut down user profiles entirely.
