NationBuilder has repeatedly said that it will not allow nations to choose to export dates in DD/MM/YYYY format: * http://nationbuilder.com/jnanaaustralia/setting_to_change_date_and_distance_format_to_most_used_worldwide_appreciated * http://nationbuilder.com/alexhamiltonaus/add_date_format_option_of_dd_mm_yyyy Very well. I can understand that it's easier if all exports from NationBuilder are in the same format. But in that case, the format should be one that is immediately parsed all around the world, and that is the international format: YYYY-MM-DD Switching to this format would cause no problems for customers in the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and the USA that use the month-first format. Excel will read it and convert it automatically to their preferred format. And it would make things much easier for customers in the rest of the world.
Thanks Bill! We will let you know if there are any updates - there are several suggestions that address internationalization as well - if you click on the Suggestion - International tag below this box you can follow them as well.
