This past Saturday NationBuilder HQ hosted Black Girls Code for the launch of their brand new LA chapter!

Black Girls Code is an amazing organization that provides opportunities for young women of color (ages 7 - 17) to learn programming and technical skills. Black Girls Code is on a mission to teach 1 million girls how to code by 2040. Their LA kick off event at NationBuilder HQ was packed with future leaders and innovators of the tech community. It is very clear, that Black Girls Code is well on their way to reaching their goal!
They are based in Oakland and have chapters in majors cities across the country. We are excited to welcome Black Girls Code to Los Angeles!
