Is there any user forum or such like stackoverflow.com

I understand that NationBuilder has a FAQ and the staff provide fantastic response but, it would be great if we could post questions and help other users more easily in a place like http://stackoverflow.com/

I am a software developer and I find the quality of answers from http://stackoverflow.com/ to be a life saver. Now, as I try to solve a problem, that NB just doesn't do yet, (but may someday) I really need to reach out to other users and hear what they might suggest. But then, once I become proficient in working with NB I'd become a contributor to those answers too.

We currently don't have a forum as a page type for NationBuilder. You can build one (as we have) with FAQ pages or suggestion boxes. Since you feel strongly that we should have one, you might want to add your voice to the existing suggestion at:

With respect, the official response misunderstands what is being asked for, and the other suggestion titled “put_up_a_real_forum” has become confused and derailed because some commenters think it is about adding forum functionality within the NationBuilder product". *This suggestion asks for a way that we — the people using / configuring NationBuilder sites — can answer each others’ questions. For other products, this type of users-helping-users forum is extremely helpful. As incentive for NationBuilder, it will reduce the amount of minor support queries. It can also show where the pain-points are.

I agree. I think we should have a NationBuilder community of developers on StackOverflow. NB would grow a lot faster if they did. I just did a quick search. It appears one would need to:

1. Find somebody on SO with a reputation of at least 1,500 to create a new
NationBuilder
