Can I segment access to my database?

Anyone who has access to the control panel has access to the full supporter database. The intern/leader/staffer permission levels restrict who can publish information, and who can view financial data. There is no segmenting of the database in a nation to only allow access to certain people within those permission levels.

Josh, you are correct, the “data security model,” still in beta, can be used as you describe. It can be found and experimented with under People > Permissions, at the bottom of the page.

Is this still true is light of the ‘data security model’? Would you be able to use the data security model to assign district captains who would only have access to contacts in their electoral districts?
