One of our team members created a blog on our website but didn't "publish" it. They then copied a link to the drafted story (I'm not sure where they got it) and pasted it into an email.
They then later went back and published the blog, but did not update the URL in the email. Now when people click on the URL, they are taken to a page that says "You must be logged in to view draft templates".
Is there a way to fix this issue? The email they sent out was pretty major and they want to know if there's a fix. Thanks to whomever can tackle this.
Hi there,
Great question, thank you for asking! You are not able to retroactively change the links in an email blast that has already been sent, but there is a workaround. You can repurpose the non-working slug that was sent in the email blast. Use it to create a redirect to the URL you would like your visitors to see so that when they click on what used to be a broken link, they'll be taken to the page you'd like them to see.
