During his undergraduate studies, Gavin organized two successful candidacies for campus elections and managed charity events benefiting the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Children's Hospital of Orange County, and The Africa Project.

Prior to NationBuilder, Gavin recruited Millenails to go on the roadtrip of a lifetime with RoadTripNation and organized civil servants at CalPERS around issues affecting their workplace and community.

In between roadtrips Gavin enjoys reading books about political theory, dabbling in photography, and cheering on the San Francisco 49ers.
