Great question Jen. I think Nationbuilder is a great platform, but there is still work that we have to do as administrators of the site, including submitting the site to search engines to be crawled (indexed), submitting the site to website directories, and other places that register newly built websites.

That being said, there are still things you can do to improve SEO for specific pages. When you drill down on the dashboard to your website, and then to a page, you’ll have a settings button. Click that and it will give you some SEO options there, but those only apply for the page itself.

If you go to your website from the dashboard, there is also an SEO button that lists all the pages and allows you to update or change SEO related items on a per page basis. Using that with google analytics, you should be able to see which of your posts are doing better on the search engines and which ones need some more sharing around the internet.
