Chris, you may try using the different form page types in NationBuilder. You can accomplish a lot by using them in “action chains” — you can see a full list of them here: http://nationbuilder.com/what_kinds_of_pages_can_i_have_on_my_nationbuilder_site
Dan, if you’d like to see features added to the product, please post them here: http://nationbuilder.com/suggest — Submitting it there allows other users to show their support for features, and helps us set our development priorities. Currently, if you’d like to use the press release page-type, you can list the press releases on a basic html page and link over to them. Or, you can create a custom liquid solution using the same concept as those mentioned here: http://nationbuilder.com/theme_documentation#contentfeed and those outlined above in the answer/ Thanks.
Hello Curt – Have you checked out our theme documentation? We have a screencast that explains how theming works and a walkthrough with a guide for liquid variables: http://nationbuilder.com/theme_documentation
Kevin, that line mentioned is for a signup page-type, not volunteer.
Correction: you want the event post content, not the calendar page content. Try targeting the post content: http://nationbuilder.com/event_page_variables — Also, the event post content is a bit different: {{ event.event.content | strip_html | truncatewords: 20 }}
Geoff, how many precincts are in the province?
Jon, could you explain what you are trying to do with an example so we can best answer this question?
No problem Ben! There are infinite features that could be implemented, which is partly the reason we have a feature suggestion page. If something gets posted there and it generates some traction, it helps us set priorities. Cheers!
