The link has been fixed. Porting the content from its original GitHub location (https://github.com/nationbuilder/nationbuilder-ios/tree/master/Documentation/Guides) isn’t as automated as it should be.
You’re right the sample app is complex, because it tries to use all of the SDK. However, you can just use the client layer and not the accounts layer, and that’s actually simpler than writing your own NSURLSession logic, unless you’re using AFNetworking or similar.
Setting up the URL seems to be fully covered in http://nationbuilder.com/ios_sdk_using_client#nbauthenticator. Would appreciate more specific feedback on what’s missing.
