How do I change the excerpt shown on Facebook for my pages?

The text blurb here that shows up on Facebook, how do I change it?

A:

For any page in your control panel, click Page Settings > Social media.  The excerpt is right there.

Facebook tends to cache this information for a long time, but you can clear Facebook's cache by using the Facebook debug tool.  It's a little trick, just put the public URL of your page into that form and Facebook will re-get your page.

This answer seems to be outdated – Now it appears as though you have to select Pages > Select the Page you want to edit the excerpt for > Settings > Page Settings > Social Media. The Facebook excerpt definitely does not change instantly… still waiting.
