Answering frequently asked questions

  • FAQ pages help explain the purpose of your nation. Use feedback pages and other methods of communication available to you to gather the most pertinent questions your supporters are asking and put them into your FAQ page.

  • Use the question detail content box to help explain complex questions. Provide background information, or even a picture, to help people who might not understand what's being discussed get a better grasp on the concept.

  • Use subpages to break up your FAQ page into sections that people can digest more easily. Organizing your FAQs by topic will also make it easier for you to see which areas are lacking detail and might need further explanation.

Yes, but not on the front page. You have to visit a subpage to see its subpages. We do not stair-step the drop-down.

Yes, this works, but what if you want a subpage of your subpage. Is that supported? I have tried this and it does not seem to work.

Emily, yes. Just click the box for top nav in the page settings, and it will show in a drop-down under the parent – just like the “FAQ” top nav item here on NationBuilder.com

Can you have sub-sub pages that will show up in the Top nav?

When editing the parent page, click “Subpages” and then “Sub nav pages.” You will then be able to drag and drop the subpages into the order you want.
