Encourage competition among your supporters
-
You can recognize your stars and encourage competition by creating leaderboards. Leaderboards rank supporters in many different areas, such as most comments, most political capital, most recruited volunteers, most tweets, and so on.
- Try setting a short time period, such as "today" or "this week" when creating a new leaderboard. This will result in the ranking change more frequently, so supporters feel like they have a real chance to rise to the top.
- Supporters who recruit their friends to join your campaign are crucial to growth. That's why many leaderboard types rank those who have recruited the most donors, RSVPs, signups, etc. Prominently linking to these leaderboards will encourage people to recruit their friends.
