In order to best support cutting-edge, secure technology, we have decided to end support for Internet Explorer versions 9 and below in the NationBuilder control panel. Some features of the control panel may no longer work in these browsers, and new bugs or performance issues that appear only in these browsers will not be investigated.
We will continue IE9 support for our public themes. If your website includes a custom theme, please contact your Architect if you have questions about cross-browser functionality.
This deprecation comes in advance of the January 2016 sunset date for these versions of Microsoft's browser. Microsoft is ceasing support to focus on maximizing security in up-to-date versions of Internet Explorer. This change will also allow us to properly implement industry-standard technologies like HTML5 and CSS Flexbox. Less than 1% of NationBuilder control panel users will be affected by this change, and we're confident that this decision will lead to a better overall experience for NationBuilder customers going forward.
