We have been receiving a lot of comment spam on the Volunteer page since December and are still receiving this today. Is there anyway to stop this or turn off the comment section?

Quentin - absolutely you can turn off comments in the volunteer page settings > uncheck 'allow comments'
Hopefully that helps! You can also hide the page for a day or two and hopefully spammers will move on.
