Hey Daniel, you can’t create your own pagetype but you could add some liquid conditionals to include a specific page template whenever the page was a child of a particular page slug, or had a particular tag added to it (e.g. when page is a child of a page with the slug “landing_page”, include each child as pretty subnav item).

I think you misunderstood my question. I get how to customize the theme. But my question is: can I create a new page type? I’m thinking like I can do with most CMS systems where I define a custom editor and template for an arbitrary page type.

Specifically, I want to create a landing page where I can define the child pages and build out some sort of “pretty” sub-navigation. I could kind of do that by modifying the basic page, but I’m not sure how I could add some of the metadata like button names, icons, etc on the child pages. Any thoughts?
