Recurring donations attributed to wrong donor

We have received a report that some recurring donations are attributed to the wrong donor in NationBuilder. Within an affected donor's profile, there are gaps in monthly donations, where NationBuilder doesn't indicate if the recurring donation succeeded or failed that month.

Donations that were supposed to occur on that date actually appear on a separate donor's profile, even though transaction records in the payment processor confirm that the separate donor had no donations attempted on that date. These donors have the same payment_profile_id but different merchant accounts, both of which are Payflow, so it seems that NationBuilder is attributing recurring donations to the wrong donor.
