Are the pictures in your email blasts appearing in MS Outlook?

Some of our images are not appearing when they are opened in Outlook, which is a real shame. We cannot pinpoint the reason why. Has anyone else had an issue with this? How about a solution?

Thanks! Mica

Unfortunately, the email clients Outlook 2007, 2010 and 2013 render HTML using MS Word rather than web standards. Additionally, most email clients block images by default - requiring you to request image download before they will be seen in an email.

Within these limitations, our email templates are designed to display properly in the major email clients.

The difficulty with Outlook is an issue that causes headaches for many professional designers. There is some rendering documentation on the Microsoft website, although if you scroll through the comments section of the page you can see that very few people are happy with their explanations.
