[API] Relationships between People to People/Organizations are not available

We are not able to add relationships either between people with each other or with an organization through the API provided by NationBuilder.

We are trying to add various types of users on NationBuilder, such as adding a student and a school. However, we want to assign that a particular student has the relation "Student At" his/her school. This assignment is not available as the current API version does not support the endpoint "Relationships".

Is there a solution to set these relationships?

    +1 — and having a GET endpoint for relationships would be really useful too (in addition to modifying) — I’d like to be able to list all relationships for a given user with the API, or find all users who have a relationship with X, etc.

    @mohamed Hisham, sorry what I meant to say is not that it does not support orgs but that it does not support relationships and you can use tags to work around that. For example if Student X belongs to Org Y you can tag student X with #orgY

    @arion the API does support signup types as a person or an organization. You just need to add an extra attribute called signup_type ans set is either to 0 for a person or 1 for an organization.

    My question is different, I am asking to set the relations between a person and an organization to simulate the “Relationships” tab to assign “a person is a STUDENT AT an organization”. The form on that page has an endpoint “Relationships” that is not available for the current API version.

    There is not solution yet. But you could fake this by tagging the signups with #organization and once the API supports signup types you can just update the info.
