Regularly when importing large lists of supporters into your people dashboard, you will see a column for errors, with a number and a linked CSV file. NationBuilder strives to keep your imports clean and free of bad data, so ususally these errors have to do with something like typos in email addresses in your rows. You can download the CSV file and in the last column it will show what error prevented those rows from being imported. You can then clean up the data and reimport those records if you like.

Khanh Russo commented 2013-10-09 14:53:38 -0700Hello, I love that Nation Builder let’s me know what the error is and that I can download the a file with only the errors. I am having a problem with uploading files with the correction. I download the error csv file. I make the change (for example bad email) but when I go to import again, the mapping tool tells me that my errors still exist. The tool thinks that I haven’t corrected the error. I tried creating a new file, manually retypling it in (thinking that there might be cookies, etc.) but the same error messages come up the second time. It thinks the that original error (i.e. bad email) is still there even though when I look at it on the screen, it has been corrected. Please help.
