Hi, we use NationBuilder for our official side website. I was wondering if there are any tools or updates that might make life easier for things like a Representative page (with pics and links to personal pages).
Our staff recently tried to update our Rep page and the spacing is kind of weird, is there a better way to do this?- http://www.nmhousedems.com/representatives
Also, I wanted to see if perhaps NationBuilder would be willing to do some updates to allow for a better interface for official side websites. We would be interested in becoming a pilot for this, and it could lead to a lot more clients for NB. I have a few ideas for some simple things that would make a world of difference for official side use. Let us know what you think.
Thanks Omar - I'm moving this over to our FAQ page for our team to take a look at regarding the spacing on your page.
As far as side websites go I'm not 100% sure what you mean or what kind of interface that would entail but I'd definitely like to hear what you have in mind! Can you send me an email at email@example.com and I can see if some of the stuff has already been suggested / already exists and get it up on the suggestion page if it hasn't?
UPDATE: Hi Omar! Listings using tables like that can be very tricky to format properly and are even trickier to edit once they've been made, so I feel your pain! Instead, I recommend using a 'bootstrap scaffolding' to accomplish this, as described here: How to create columns using bootstrap 'span' classes in a template/theme
This method is a bit more complex and might require some HTML skills, but it will be much easier to maintain and it will work better on mobile devices as well. Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or comment here if you have trouble doing this.
Complete and current information on how to use NationBuilder is available in the documentation section.
