I created a survey in which all answers are set to "text" format. When I go to results, it only shows whether the questions have been answered or not, but does not show the actual answers provided by respondents. Is there a way to view the answers other than in the dashboard feed?

Individuals' survey responses can be seen on their own, individual profiles within your people database.
If you'd like to see all of the responses in a sortable, searchable and aggregated format you'll want to export them to a Comma Separated Values (.csv) file. You can export the file by navigating within your Control Panel to People > More > Surveys. Click on the 
next to the survey you would like to export. Then go to Export and click on "Start export."

I think Ana was referring to seeing the survey response activities on the activity stream within an individual person’s profile (http://nationbuilder.com/profiles_introduction#activity).
In the screenshot in the response, you can also click into the Questions tab, select a specific question, and see all of the responses to that question under the question’s dashboard.
