Facebook Ads: How to use a Conversion Tracking Pixel on the site and on a specific page?

There is some information about how to load a js file and use it over the whole site, but for doing Facebook ads targeting a specific page or post, we want to install a conversion tracking pixel on that specific page. I see no method or instructions for doing so. Considering FB advertising is pretty important, and so is being able to see conversions, please add a tutorial on how to make this work.

If the purpose of the pixel is to track conversion on a specific page, then it should be place at the top of the page template of that page – not in the theme files.

After placing the pixel and saving / publishing the template, the please test to make sure the pixel is working. (Follow pixel instructions from Facebook in the area titled “Check your pixel is working properly.”)

If the purpose of the pixel is to track site-wide conversion, then it should be placed in the layout.html file of a custom theme.

Let us know if you should have any further questions!
