It may be moot now that we found out the price of NationBuilder for us will go from $67/month to $219/month if we want to keep using the memberships feature.

Thanks, but this is the kind of thing that needs to be fixed. Some of these contacts have other phone numbers, and I don’t want to mark the entire contact as “Do Not Call”. I just want to batch remove the bad phone numbers.
Another option would be for you to implement a “Bad Number” flag for the Home and Work numbers, similar to the Mobile number. Then we could batch update that instead, which would be a reasonable workaround.

Thanks for the response. I think I understand what you’re suggesting, and we’ll try modifying the followup types to more closely model our internal responsibilities. But I still think it would be nice to have a very clear way for an individual to mark a specific followup as his or hers, so that everything that comes in has a positive acknowledgment, and a clear owner.

It’s important for us to at least have the option to include blank space for recording notes. Ideally the forms would be more customizable (like options to include Data Entry fields like “Contact Status”), but a simple optional “Notes” space on the right edge of the forms would suffice for now.

I ended up finding a better answer. The Finances->Settings page for an individual has a checkbox for “Exempt from donation limits.” With that checked, you can record any amount of a contribution you want, so we were able to leave our pre-defined election cycle limits in place. So in the end I think NB allowed us to exactly record the nature of this contribution (Loan from Candidate – Exempt from donation limits). Thanks.
