Why am I getting the "Liquid error: Could not find default template _blog_latest.html"

I'm using the Revolution-Olive Green LeMonde theme and I get this error message on my home page.

The reason that you're seeing that error is because the Revolution theme — by default — does not include a file with that name. 

Other themes (ex: Victory) include that file by default, because it's used to display their blog posts on the homepage. If you'd like to mimic this functionality in Revolution, you'll need to manually add that file in Websites > Theme > Custom Theme > Files.

    Amy — That’s right. You likely started off with a theme that included it, and it was made a part of the page-level template.

    Aha! It’s not just the Theme. There are also Template files for individual pages. (e.g. subdomain.nationbuilder.com/admin/sites/1/pages/1/template). Probably because changing themes preserves content, and templates are treated as content, when you switch from one theme to another then your templates may refer to a theme file that no longer exists. You can just delete the offending line from the Template file, or copy the file from the previous Theme if you want that functionality.

    That doesn’t really answer the question. Let me try a different approach: what is causing this file to be referenced? I see no mention of it anywhere in my theme files (doing a find-in-files type search), so something outside my control is asking for this file. What is that thing, and why is it doing so, and how do I turn it off? Just making an empty file is a band-aid.
