Users can easily create and customize their branded event registration page, sell tickets and manage attendees. Best of all, EventGrid now integrates with NationBuilder. Once your event is synced with your nation, all event RSVPs will flow into your nation with customizable tags as well as financial data showing the transaction history of the RSVP.
To take advantage of this integration:
Step 1: Signup for EventGrid and navigate to your dashboard. Once there select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Integration.’ NationBuilder will be one of the options you can select.
Step 2: Choose the ‘Connect’ button and you will be prompted to enter your nation slug. Once you select ‘Save’ you will be prompted to login to your nation to authenticate your account. Once you’ve done this you’re setup and ready to start building your event!
Step 3: Start building your event on EventGrid. You will be asked to choose the event name, location, date and time, organizer and add ticket levels. Then you’ll be asked to choose your registration page design and style. Once you’re done, navigate to your event and select ‘Edit Event’ and choose ‘Advanced Options.’ Here you can input NationBuilder specific details like the tracking code (referred to as ‘Billing ID’ in EventGrid) and tags.
Step 4: Once someone RSVPs for the event and purchases a ticket all that data flows back into your nation including the tags, tracking code, financial data and profile data the person provided such as name and email address.
