Our version 2 themes, such as Aware and Presence, feature a form error container that's scoped with the "aware-theme" and "v2-theme" CSS classes:
A possible cause of why your donation page doesn't appear to be validating could be that one or both of these classes were removed from the <body> tag of your layout.html template file.
