Hi Wyatt - If you are comfortable editing HTML & CSS code, you can modify the Layout.html file in your theme (as long as it is a custom theme) to remove this. Specifically, that container is a div with the class "header-container clearfix". Before removing it, you would also want to make sure that you relocate the div found inside it with the class "tablet-visible", as it contains the icon used to hide/show the menu when viewing your site on a mobile device.
