I nominate Rebecca Lammers, who has taken notice of how to be anti-racist and has worked to try and save her local domestic abuse charity that supports women of African and Carribean descent in Hackney. She has worked hard to get cross party support, and has been a driving force in getting our entire party on board. She has found bro-bono lawyers, organised social media campaigns and has pushed this story into the headlines. She is someone who you won’t see front and centre, who pushes others into the limelight and who credits the entire team, every time. She deserves recognition for quietly making things happen and inspiring everyone around her.
