I would like to enthusiastically nominate Brianne Whyte, a mother and elementary school music teacher in Toronto who has stepped up in a big way, becoming the team leader of For Our Kids Toronto, taking action on climate change for the first time in her life. For her having her first child was a call to action to get involved, and speak out, and her actions have inspired many other parents to follow suit.
