I am nominating Katelyn Johnson, the Executive Director of Blackroots Alliance in Chicago. I have been working with BA for a year aside Katelyn and I have to say she is so passionate about the work that we do that I have to convince her to take time off. She created this non-profit organization in 2015 because there was a need for criminal justice reform. There was a need for racial justice and support for Black leadership in this fight for liberation. I feel so grateful to have such an amazing boss and mentor.
