For my event, I want to be able to sell tickets online, but also allow people to bring a check to the event. How can I let them RSVP and just say that they're bringing a check?
I tried to add a ticket price option of $0.00, but it wouldn't let me.

In that scenario, your best bet would be either to (a) leave a note in the event's description encouraging folks to call you directly to RSVP if they're paying by check or (b) bring two RSVP lists with you on event night: one of the folks who’ve paid, and one of the folks who haven’t.
You can retrieve a list of RSVPs who have no paid for their ticket within your control panel by navigating to Website > Event Page > Event Settings > RSVPs > Unpaid.
