That is purely a toggle for a feature of NB, and if we turn the feature off (via the Site Settings) then the checkbox should also go away. How is this still the case eight years later?

Yes, I have gone to Site Settings and unchecked the box that says “Ask to publish actions to stream” and yet, it continues to ask to publish actions to the stream on every single form.

If this is never going to be changed, which seems to be the implication of the “Official response from Nationbuilder Support,” then this option in Site Settings needs to be removed.

I’m sure I am not the first to point out that for an organization like ours, a small non-profit that relies on memberships, the “Organization” tier is priced higher than what we pay now, in fact it is more than twice as much. I’m afraid that your generous offer of our current price for as much as two years really only amounts to us figuring out how much time it will take us to find an alternative to Nationbuilder.

How would i display events in this upcoming list that contain certain tags? Like “home” or “community”. I would guess something like:

{% for event in page.calendar.events_upcoming limit:5 tag:community %}

But that didn’t work.

Um. That’s it? This is how it is. Why not admit that someone coded this a long time ago, and it is not worth your time or effort to fix it so we, or (gasp!) the user can select which photo to use on the profile? Maybe an intern could do it? A Summer of Code thing? Someone’s kid brother? Anyone?

Would appreciate major changes like this be announced before they are rolled out, so we can adjust our operations. That said, some of the changes are very welcome.

We have tickets for an event, and they were entered not in the order in which we want them displayed. We could delete them all and enter them again in the right order, or use this hack, I guess.

Really think the “hack” should be replaced by the handy drag and drop you have on other pages for re-ordering things. Would it be so hard?
