When people leave feedback on a feedback page, where do I go to read it?

All public feedback will be logged in the Activity Stream at the bottom of your Feedback page.

If someone checks the "Don't post this publicly" box, the feedback will not be seen in the Activity Stream, but it will be logged in the page dashboard.

The dashboard of each page shows all activity (public and private) related to the page. From the control panel, click Pages, then click the name of the feedback page. All feedback will be shown in the dashboard below the FaceTweet area.

Hey Steven, you can either follow the specific page that you want emails for when feedback is left, or you can go into your profile and change your notification settings. Find where it says “Email new feedback” and select “everyone”.

@erika unfortunately you can’t export feedback. A workaround would be to actually use a survey page with just a single text question. You could then export the data that’s input on that page. Check out http://nationbuilder.com/how_to_create_a_survey to learn a little more about surveys!

Ethan – go to the dashboard of the feedback page. On the right side of the feedback, you’ll see an arrow. Click that icon and you’ll see the option to delete the activity. Once you click on “Delete activity,” the feedback will disappear and you’ll see the question “Are you sure you want to delete this activity? Yes No” Click on Yes to delete the activity – it will then be removed from the activity stream of the public webpage if it was sent as public feedback.

As a reminder, there’s no way to undelete the activity after confirming you want to delete the activity.

…or…If I don’t use a feedback page, can I just delete that checkbox from the feedback page template so I don’t concern the user? We are trying to gather student information that is always private.

Oh! And of course I may have misread your question.

If someone has left particularly long feedback, it may be truncated within your stream. To see the feedback in its entirety, click the “more” link at the end of the line to expose the rest of the message.

Tracey — If someone has left private feedback on a page, you’ll be able to see it in two places:

1. On that person’s profile within the People tab of your Control Panel; and

2. Within your control panel, on the Dashboard tab of the page on which they left feedback (as pictured above).

I am only seeing the first line in my stream. Where do I go to see the rest of the information if the person opted to not post publically?

Thanks, CJ. I’ve attached a screen shot of what I see in the feedback page dashboard and send our communication here as an email to help@NB…. Does what I see (or don’t!) simply mean that the user didn’t actually enter feedback?
