custom fields need to allow a field type of date

When you define a custom field, you have 4 types - text, number, checkbox, and multiple choice. You need a fifth choice - date, and you need to allow filters to treat that as a date.

Thank you David! We don't have any plans at the moment to update custom fields but we'll definitely keep this in mind when we do.

    1. imports should also be smart about this field and convert data to a date. If it doesn’t convert, leave it blank.
    2. it would be nice to have a conversion program that would 1) redefine the field as a date and 2) convert all the data in this field to dates.
