I agree that users must create good and structured internal documentation so that all lists and tags are employed consistently by multiple users over time. However, this explanation omits the very undocumented rules on the attributes of fields. For example, we have multiple fields for people’s names and/or locations. All of the options are great, I’m sure, but some of us users need clear instructions about which name fields are selected for which lists or downloads. More importantly, is how users can get NationBuilder code errors corrected. (such as correcting the Green-Rainbow Party designation for Massachusetts voters). That said, most of the support staff are very pleasant and try to be helpful.
