Will people on our email list see other people's email addresses?

We are about to send our first blast to volunteers. My volunteer coordinator is concerned that everyone will be able to see everyone else's email address and that it won't bcc everyone.

when we sent a test email I was able to see the emails of others on the test. Will it do the same in our volunteer blast?

We take data privacy very, very seriously. If you send a blast email following the directions on our "How to set up blast email" FAQ, then each email will appear to be sent directly to the person to whom you send it. They will not be able to see the addresses of each individual recipient (as if they were all CC'd).

You don’t need to use email blasting if you want to do that, just send regular email and put everyone in the to/cc fields. Assuming it’s small groups of 50 or less people, that should work fine.

What if you actually do want the recipients to be able to see each others’ email addresses? We’re setting up broadcasters to let volunteer leaders send messages out to small groups of volunteers (who all know each other) about ad-hoc projects. It would be great if the recipients could reply-all to be able to communicate themselves with the whole group. Fostering intra-group communication is actually a really important goal for us.

Is there a way to enable this behavior?
