commented on Event RSVP Email Updates
I think it would be really helpful if an admin could specify what the checkbox states do when the RSVP is submitted. In our case, we’ve updated our custom templates so that we just remove “signing up through RSVP-ing,” — because the potential confusion of a visitor unsubscribing themselves isn’t worth it.

I don’t mean to pile on additional requests to this, but interestingly, a client has also asked if we can tag a person with an additional tag if they subscribe/sign up for email updates through an RSVP…. in addition to the RSVP form being able to tag them.

@robbutz tweeted link to Pull profile info based on tags, outside of Directory pages?.
A #NationBuilder question that's stumped me: Pull profile info based on tags, outside of Directory pages? http://nationbuilder.com/robbutz/pull_profile_info_based_on_tags_outside_of_directory_pages?recruiter_id=681254

commented on signup
Perhaps I’m missing something, but is it possible — if public profiles are enabled on your site in Site Settings, and the public profile field for the person is checked on the individual profile — to just straight up output info for a specific person in your templates? Something like:

signup.published_first_name.5001 or
signup.published_first_name5001

(these do not work, obviously)

commented on Tags not transferring to embedded signup form signups
So,
{% hidden_field_tag “page_id”, signup_form.id }
not
{
hidden_field_tag “page_id”, page.id %}
in the included form, does the trick.

Lifesaver! Thanks Ian.
