We've had reports from nations attached to eWay that some failed donation attempts are not transferring data over to eWay.
These appear to coincide with a blank error code on the donation attempt when looking at the failed attempt in the nation's control panel. When they feature an eWay error code it looks like the failed data is transmitting.
Our engineering team investigated the issue and determined that, in these cases, we were not receiving an error in the response from eWay that would allow us to update the failed attempt in the control panel or display an error to the donor on the page. We suggest following up with eWay to see if they have been able to determine why their responses are not reliably sending errors as expected.
