Update on downtime from Tuesday, August 30

We are investigating the cause of today's downtime we will update here with more information once we know more.

The downtime on Tuesday, August 30th, was due to a mistake we made on how we configure our network. We apologize for the inconvenience and understand that this downtime was not acceptable. We do not plan to make any changes at this level as we get closer to the fall election and end of year fundraising seasons.

For the past few months, we have been making large infrastructure changes with the goal of having them completed before Labor Day (Monday, September 5th). We want to ensure you that your data is safe and that we are still on track to have the work completed by Monday. We are confident that our infrastructure will be in a good place going forward.
