How do multi-day events work?

I see there is a variable for multi-day events. How would I set up and sell tickets to an event that is on 11/30 from 5-9 pm and also 12/1 from 5-9 pm, where a ticket could be used for either day?

I don't see any option for this in the application.

There are two solutions to your inquiry.

The first is to create a multi-day event and have two different levels:

a ticket level for 11/30;
and a ticket level for 12/1.

The other option is to create two seperate events for each day.

Multi-day events are created by indicating that the duration of the event is longer than 24 hours. For example, in Event settings > Basic, you can list the Length as 2 days or 48 hours. Multi-day events do not have to be ticketed events. You can list shifts lasting a single day for a week long event.

I don’t see any variable for creating a multi-day event. Can someone please clue me in further on how this works? A typical use for one of my sites is posting events for multi-day ski trips. Thanks!

Am I correct in assuming that multi-day events can must also be ticketed events, or is it possible to have 1 event that spans 1 week which each day hosting a “shift”?
