Difference between comments and reactions

On one of my web pages, I saw that there was a reaction. What is a reaction and how is it different from a comment?

Hi Lance,

As Brad mentioned below, a comment is when someone leaves a comment on a page - such as the answer he posted.

Any activity that feeds into the stream of the page is considered a reaction. Brad's comment is a reaction to your post to the page, at the same time it is a comment on the page itself.

Here is another example of reactions on a page. Two of those reactions are comments, the rest are people taking actions on the page itself which feeds into the activity feed.

A reaction can be when someone Likes or Shares a page via Facebook, Twitter, or Google+. A comment is when some leaves a comment on a page.
