Erica Chomsky-Adelson is the founder and Executive Director of Culture Aid NOLA, a no-barrier, no-stigma food distribution in New Orleans, Louisiana. Culture Aid NOLA currently serves 3,000 people a week from two neighborhood based sites. Founded on the principles of dignity, grace, and hospitality, the organization is committed to serving all without means testing, and breaking down the stigma of hunger.
Erica is passionate about collaboration, communication, and logistics. Her background in planning and urban studies has helped Culture Aid NOLA build strong ties and trust in vibrant yet struggling neighborhoods, and her decade plus experience in disaster response has helped build sustainable and resilient systems. 
In her spare time, Erica enjoys watching Nicolas Cage movies and leading the Mardi Gras krewe she captains.
