Connections Hub

Overview

ConnectionsHub is a central place where NationBuilder's integrations and utilities live and work directly with your nation's data. Built and supported by NationBuilder, it removes the setup work that usually stands between finding a useful service and actually using it. You connect your nation once, and every tool in the hub can work with it from then on — including the ones we add later.

• List Splitter — breaks one large list into smaller organized lists by precinct, tag, or custom field

• List Destroyer and Tag Destroyer — clear out lists and tags you no longer need, in bulk, with a confirmation step before anything changes. People are never deleted

• Wealth screening powered by Kindsight's iWave — scores the people in a list for giving capacity and writes capacity scores, propensity scores, gift range estimates, and donor archetypes back onto NationBuilder profiles (requires additional subscription) 

• Connect in a few clicks with a NationBuilder admin account that has API permissions enabled. No developer or technical setup required

• Manage each nation's connection separately, and revoke access from your NationBuilder control panel at any time

• Your data isn't retained after a tool finishes its work

• Every tool has its own in-app guide covering what it does, what it costs, and what changes in your nation when you run it

Pricing Information

ConnectionsHub is free, and the tools NationBuilder builds are included at no additional charge. Some tools connect to an outside service to do their work, and those providers may charge for use of their own services. Where that applies, the tool's own guide says so and explains how the charges work.

Integration details

ConnectionsHub connects to your nation through an OAuth authorization from a NationBuilder admin account with API permissions enabled. Once connected, each tool reads from your nation — and where relevant writes back to it — to do a single specific job. Tools are independent of one another, so you only use the ones you need.

Setup takes under five minutes: go to connections-hub.nationbuilder.com, enter your nation's slug, sign in through your nation, and authorize the connection. Nations are connected individually, and each connection is managed separately.
