By Specifically in the context of the Donor page, I want to assign a tag based on the financial amount a donor contributes. Currently, my donation page settings has the tag donor in the "Tag the donor with" field. It would be much, much for valuable for us if we could assign a tag based on what a donor actually did. So, for example, it would assign a tag like "MicroDonor" to all $10 and below contributions, "MajorDonor" to all $2,500 and above contributions, etc.
Is there any way we can achieve this?
While you can't tag people based on the specific amount that the person gives straight from the donation page, you can run an advanced search under Finances -> Donations -> Advanced search for both the contribution range and the general donor tag, then add the people to a list to add the more specific tag or manage the group how you want.
