How can I have google analytics track a click to an external link as a goal conversion? I tried to follow google's instructions (http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=72712), but when I insert the google's code into the HTML source section of the NB content page, much of it gets deleted when I click save.
There are two parts to the answer.
a. If you want to do JavaScript or more sophisticated HTML, you shouldn't use the WYSIWYG editor as that will strip out a lot of stuff to make the content area as clean as possible. But you have complete control over the HTML if you click on the "Template" tab for your page.
