Hey Meghan, the icons with “fa” in their names are all supplied by FontAwesome; they have a great key on their site here:

Our themes won’t include the “20 new icons in 4.5”, so avoid using those ones.

Where the old call was “widget-icon fa fa-money”, the new call you’d use for the “cog” icon for instance would be “widget-icon fa fa-cog”.

That’s very helpful. I have an additional question. On these excerpts, there is an icon at the top of each. I have found in the theme documentation where to change the icon. What I would like to request is a reference for each of the options in NationBuilder and/or how to add my own. For instance “widget-icon fa fa-comments-o” is 2 speech bubbles, “widget-icon fa fa-money” is a dollar bill. I would love to see a list of icons and their reference names. Thank you.

Hey Nick, there’s a partial template in your theme that controls that one; you’ll find it under the “Files” section of your theme, called _homepage_excerpt.html. This contains code for multiple pagetypes to be displayed in a specific way when using the ‘homepage’ tag (the tag causes the page w/that tag to be rendered using the HTML defined by the partial snippet). Line 68 is where you’ll find the following: <div class=“truncate-500”>{{ homepage_excerpt.basic.content }}</div>

You can definitely pull in the page excerpt instead of the truncated page content; change the basic.content in the above line to basic.excerpt, and it’ll pull from the excerpt portion of the SEO/Social Media settings menus.
